Taunton soldiers return home from Iraq
TAUNTON, Mass. -- It was a bittersweet homecoming for 165 soldiers who returned from a year-long deployment to Iraq.
The company from Taunton was greeted by family, friends, and state officials in a ceremony on Sunday.
However, it wasn't all joyful. Specialist Matthew Pollini was killed last January in a vehicle roll-over. His wife and parents were honored for his service.
While overseas, the company established a training academy for Iraqi police.
