Beanpot marks 250th meeting of two rivals

BOSTON -- Boston University and Boston College will face off in the Beanpot hockey final at the TD Garden on Monday night.
The two rivals will play each other for the 20th time, with BU holding a 12-to-7 edge. The BU Terriers are gunning for their 30th title, although the BC Eagles have recently been on fire, scoring 18 goals in the past 3 games.
The 2010 Beanpot final marks the 250th meeting between these two hockey rivals.
